FAQs
What hospital or surgery center owns your anesthesia group?
We are a private anesthesia group that is independent of the surgeons’ offices and facilities. We are contracted to provide anesthesia services for these facilities and are not directly tied to them other than our duty to provide the best possible care.
How much will my anesthesia cost?
If you requests a quote for your anticipated patient responsibility, we will always do our best to provide an accurate range that you could pay for service. Because part of our service fee is directly dependent on time the CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) is providing service, we use the average time for the designated procedure to give you a general idea of what you can expect to pay. the time involved can vary on a multitude of factors. Quotes given are only a good faith estimate and could be different after the procedure. You are always welcome to contact our office @ XXX-XXX-XXXX should you have any questions about you bill once you receive it.
Why did I receive a bill for anesthesia?
Three claims are involved with each procedure: the surgeon’s claim, facility claim, and the anesthesia claim. This means there are 3 separate bills that can be expected.
What if I am a self pay Patient?
We ask that Self-Pay patients bring their anesthesia payment to the facility on the day of their procedure
What personal medical history do we need to inform you about
All surgical facilities have their own pre-operative check list they will discuss with you before your surgery. If there are any concerns from the facility, they will reach out to us directly before scheduling your procedure.
